Sahil Desai is a Ph.D. candidate in the Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering Department. His research interest is in the field of systems biology, understanding how plants mitigate drought stress. Sahil holds an M.S. from Cornell University and a B.E. in Chemical Engineering from BITS Pilani, India. He has worked as a researcher at the Max Planck Institute in Germany and Los Alamos National Lab. During his spare time, Sahil enjoys making chai, reading, playing Tennis, and endurance sports being a part of the Ithaca Triathlon Club. Thrilled to contribute to the vibrant community of Flora Rose house, Sahil is eager to embrace his role as a Graduate Resident Fellow.
