Human Development, Minors in Inequality Studies and Music
Omeed Moini is from Bellevue, WA and is a sophomore in the college of Human Ecology majoring in Human Development and double minoring in Music and Inequality Studies. He was a Rose Scholar and is excited to continue his involvement in the Rose Community as an URF. On campus, Omeed plays trumpet in Cornell's Symphonic Orchestra, is a member of Alpha Iota Gamma, Cornell's Disability Studies Journal, and was in College Mentors for Kids. On a good day, you will find Omeed listening to Bladee and Jeff Buckley--on a bad day he'll be listening to Radiohead and Mount Eerie. In his free time, you can find Omeed listening to music, going on hikes, and sleeping in odd places around campus.
