Sonia Mar is a junior from Queens, NY studying Information Science in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, with professional interests in digital product design and data science. On campus, she is a product designer at the project team Hack4Impact, a student assistant at the Cornell Center for the Study of Inequality, a multimedia staffer for the Cornell Daily Sun, and a Rose Scholar. When at home, she volunteers at workers' rights organizations CSWA and NMASS to advance social justice in NYC's Chinatown. In her free time, she enjoys experimenting with new recipes, being active outdoors, and painting. She is very excited to continue being a part of the Rose House community as a URF this year!
