Students, faculty and staff within The House will create an environment of collegiality, civility, and responsible stewardship while fostering personal discovery and growth.

All members of the house will share house leadership with the distinguished Cornell Professor Shirley Samuels, who as House Professor-Dean, will reside in Flora Rose House with her daughter, Ruth.

The house will have affiliations with other faculty, senior university staff, coaches, along with other members of the community to enrich the experience of Cornell students and transform the nature and quality of their interactions with faculty.
