Cynthia Hill spent the better part of a decade participating in projects in molecular, micro, and immunobiology labs and was on the path to becoming a research scientist. She found that she liked doing, learning, and teaching science to the point that she ended up in the doctoral program in STEM education at Tufts University. She is interested in biology teaching and learning at the undergraduate level and currently studies aspects of support for graduate instructors for introductory biology labs.
Cynthia also has a B.S. in Biology & Spanish and an M.S. in Exercise Science. She is new to Ithaca (but is no stranger to snow) and is a fan of what the area has to offer.
