Two to four residents (primarily SAs) who act as liaisons with our transfer student population. In Rose House this amounts to organizing events especially toward the beginning of the year, such as a welcome social and a transfer student tour, and then transfer table(s) at House Dinner. This, then, transitions into a more advisory capacity (in which the HAD is more formally involved) as the year progresses. With a vibrant transfer population on West Campus, Rose House has created a structural component to our programming to support the transfer student population. By specifically including SAs in this initiative, we are trying to forward their roles as peer mentors.
